Supplier and exporter of ASTM B167 UNS N06600 annealed Tubes and Inconel 600 redrawn tubing in Mumbai

Inconel 600 Tubeis a nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance at higher temperatures and has good resistance in chloride and carburizing containing environments.

Inconel 600 Tubing is designed for use from cryogenic to elevated temperatures in the range of 2000 deg F.

Inconel 600 Seamless Tube/ Inconel 600 Seamless Tubing have excellent mechanical properties and present the desirable combination of good workability and high strength. The high nickel content provides corrosion resistance to by many organic and inorganic compounds and also makes it virtually immune to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking.
The high chromium content of ASTM B167 UNS N06600 raises its oxidation resistance considerably above that of pure nickel, while its high nickel content provides good corrosion resistance under reducing conditions. It provides high levels of resistance to stress and salt water, exhaust gases, and most organic acids and compounds.

Inconel 600 Welded Tube/ Inconel 600 Welded Tubing has high chromium content which raises its oxidation resistance considerably above pure nickel and its high nickel content provides good corrosion resistance under reducing conditions.

Alloy 600 Tube presents high levels of resistance to exhaust gases, stress and salt water, and most organic acids and compounds. It is not an age hardening alloy so it hardened only by working. Softening by annealing begins at about 1600°F and is fairly completes after 10 - 15 minutes of heating at 1800°F.

Above 1800°F temperature Alloy 600 Tubing grain growth may be objectionable, although very brief heating at 1900°F will cause complete softening without undue grain growth. Since the rate of cooling has no effect on the softening, it can be air cooled or water quenched.

The major hot working of Nickel alloy 600 tubing should be done between 2300-1850°F. While light working can be continued as low as 1600°F. Due to lower ductility in that range hot working should be attempted between 1600-1200°F.

SB 167 UNS N06600 is machinable in both the hot worked and annealed conditions. Because considerable heat is generated in machining, high-speed steel, cast nonferrous or cemented carbide tools should be used and the tools should be kept sharp.

ASTM B163 Alloy 600 Seamless Tube can be cold worked below 1200°F and it can be joined by the usual welding, soldering and brazing process.
