We address these few quality related problems during/as a result of product development process Sewing defects Colour effects Sizing defects Garment defects Sewing defects - These defects are inclusive of concerns like open seams, faulty stitching techniques used, same colour garment stitched with different thread colour, leaving stitches in between, creasing of the garment, too hard or soft thread tension and raw edges are some sewing defects that are taken care of. Colour defects - Colour defects are a result of mismatch of the final product developed with the initial samples shown. Therefore the requirements are strongly communicated at each stage so that there are no last minute problems. Sizing defects -Wrong marking of sizes, variation in measurement of a garment part from other, for example- sleeves of 'XL' size but body of 'L' size. Such defects do not occur has to be seen too. Garment defects - During manufacturing process defects could occur like - faulty zippers, irregular hemming, loose buttons, raw edges, improper button holes, uneven parts, inappropriate trimming, and difference in fabric colours. Besides these basics the product goes under expert scrutiny to be checked on parameters of tensile strength, warp and weft ratio, UV resistance, pilling resistance, colour fade and many other test parameters.
